ICANN newgTLD auctions

The latest round of ICANN auctions held to determine who gets .BABY and .MLS has yielded two 3 million-dollar-plus winning bids.

Johnson & Johnson already owns and paid $3,088,888 to beat five other applicants (Auburn Beach (Donuts), Charleston Road Registry (Google), DotBaby (Radix), Compact Registry (Famous Four) and Top Level Domain Holdings (Minds & Machines)) for the TLD .BABY.

The Canadian Real Estate Association’s winning bid for .MLS was slightly higher at $3,359,000. Afilias was the other applicant for the 3-letter TLD which means Multiple Listing Service, a service often used in the US to list real-estate offers.
